Plot of Bhavnao Ko Samjho
The movie revolves around Sunderlal Yadav, who is an alcoholic and a gambler. He is disowned by his father Himmatram Yadav, who is a rich businessman. Himmatram decides to give his entire estate to his grand-niece Suman, who is unmarried and lives with him. Sunderlal is desperate to get his share of the property and tries various ways to convince his father to change his will. He even hires a lawyer to file a case against his father.
When nothing works, he resorts to bribing a matrimonial agent named Ad Vivah to find a suitable groom for Suman. He promises to pay him a hefty commission if he can arrange a marriage between Suman and a groom who will agree to hand over the entire estate to Sunderlal after the wedding. Ad Vivah finds a groom named Thakur's son, who is actually a conman and a friend of Sunderlal. Thakur's son agrees to the plan and pretends to be in love with Suman.
